KIBERA UNITED YOUTH ACADEMY

  The Kibra Academy Project

Building the Future of Kibra United through Structure, Purpose, and Character.

The Kibra Academy is more than a football program; it is a life-readiness initiative. Sitting directly beneath the Kibra United Men’s Team, our academy provides a professional pathway for young talent while fostering the resilience needed to succeed off the pitch.

Our Mission: The Three Pillars

We believe that by providing a professional environment, we instill values that transcend the game.

  • Structure: We provide a consistent schedule that keeps youth engaged and focused. By prioritizing attendance and performance, players learn to value consistency and discipline.
  • Purpose: We create a community where every player has a goal. This drive to improve helps our athletes persevere through life’s hardships, translating their on-pitch ambition into real-world success.
  • Character: Football is our classroom for life. Through the academy, we develop the essential traits of Teamwork, Leadership, Communication, and Dedication.

The Player Commitment

Every player in our U13, U15, and U17 squads is fully funded. In return for their hard work, we provide a holistic support system:

Performance Suppor, tHealth & WellbeingProfessional StandardsWeekly professional trainingNutritious post-activity mealsFull Matchday & Training KitsCompetitive League entryMonthly medical checkupsProfessional Club Tracksuits Transport to all away gamesMentorship from First Team staffGear maintenance & accountability

Roadmap to Excellence

We are executing this vision in three strategic phases:

  • Phase 1: Implementation | Launching our core U13, U15, and U17 squads with full coaching and equipment.
  • Phase 2: The Clubhouse | Establishing a physical home for the academy featuring a kitchen, medical suite, and storage facility.
  • Phase 3: The Pathway | Expanding to all age groups (U8–U17) to create a seamless "Grassroots to First Team" pipeline.

Support the Vision

To maintain a "fully funded" model, we rely on strategic partnerships and community generosity. We are currently seeking funding for:

  • Pitch Hire & Coaching Staff
  • Kit & Equipment Sponsorship
  • Medical & Nutritional Program

"We may not be able to change every situation, but by implementing a strong mindset and keeping our youth healthy and fed, we change their future."
